Trade-Ups — Worth It or a Waste of Skins?

I’ve saved up a bunch of lower-tier skins and I’m thinking about doing a trade-up contract. I know it’s a bit of a gamble, but has anyone here had success with it? I’d love to hear how others approached it before I throw away stuff I might regret losing.

I’ve had mixed results. Once I got a decent outcome, but other times I got stuck with stuff I couldn’t even sell. It really depends on how much you’re willing to risk and whether you’ve done the math right.

My first trade-up attempt was completely random — no research, just vibes — and I ended up with a skin worth half of what I put in. That taught me to actually understand how trade-ups work before trying again.
